Hi, I’m Sylvie!

Pleased to meet you!

I'm Sylvie Gendreau—executive coach, innovation strategist, and author.

For over thirty years, I've worked at the intersection of strategic transformation and human creativity. I founded and led Gendreau Communications for two decades, advising Fortune 500 companies including Biochem Pharma, Alcan, Alcoa, and EDF. Early in my career, I worked closely with CGI founder Serge Godin on strategic planning and communications during the company's formative years.

I partner with CEOs and leadership teams—particularly innovators building what doesn't exist yet—to navigate complexity, mobilize collective intelligence, and create organizations designed for both performance and meaning.

My approach is informed by diverse experience: teaching innovation to doctoral candidates at Polytechnique Montréal for a decade, founding a contemporary art gallery in Brittany, and authoring six books—including the award-winning La Cité des Intelligences (Prix de la Revue Ressources Humaines & Management, Paris 2001) and the biotech thriller Massimo Génética, which anticipated today's debates on genetic engineering.

Whether I'm coaching leaders or crafting narratives, I'm drawn to the same question: How do we create futures aligned with our highest values?
